Cottage #2 offers spectacular valley and ocean views from its elevated position on Balmoral Ridge, with a private courtyard perfect for couples. Downstairs: Full kitchen for self-catering, open-plan living and dining and a well-appointed bathroom. Upstairs: A master bedroom and mezzanine-style second bedroom, both fitted with queen beds and quality commercial hotel linen for a proper night's sleep. Reverse cycle A/C for for cozy winters and cool summers. Your Private Courtyard: Step outside to your own lawn area with seating - the perfect spot for morning coffee with the view, an afternoon wine, or simply sitting outside to watch the birds ride the thermals along the range. Despite being central to everything the region offers, you're on a quiet ridge with views that feel removed from it all. The beaches of Caloundra are 35 minutes away. Gardners Falls, Kondalilla Falls, Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, and walking tracks throughout the hinterland are all within easy reach. Maleny is also one of the few reliable places in Australia to spot wild platypus - ask us for tips on where to look. Getting Around: A car is essential for exploring the hinterland's many treasures. Local buses and taxis run infrequently and won't give you the freedom to discover the region properly.
